Coming from the field of contemporary art, I am used to working with both
experimental and traditional narrative in moving image. I have done directing and camerawork for numerous projects of my own, including a mid-length documentary screened at film festivals.
Aside from directing, I have extensive experience as an editor, researcher and creative producer for documentary projects. I enjoy finding solutions for the widest range of editing challenges and being part of diverse creative teams.
I speak and write fluently in German, English and Russian, understand Ukrainian, and have sufficient level of French to both conduct and edit interviews.
In addition to proficiency with the Adobe package, FinalCut and DaVinci Resolve
(both for editing and color grading), I have also worked with Avid Media Composer and am familiar with various asset management systems.
